Common Issues & Quick Fixes

Buffering / Freezing

Cause: Slow internet or ISP throttling.
Fix: Use wired Ethernet instead of WiFi. Try a VPN (NordVPN/ExpressVPN) to bypass ISP throttling. Reduce quality to FHD instead of 4K.

Channels Not Loading

Cause: M3U URL entered incorrectly.
Fix: Delete your playlist and re-add it. Copy the M3U URL from WhatsApp (don't retype it). Ensure there are no extra spaces.

No Sound / Black Screen

Cause: Audio/video codec issue.
Fix: In app settings, change the video player to "ExoPlayer" or "VLC". On TiviMate: Settings → Player → Video Decoder → HW (hardware).

EPG / TV Guide Not Showing

Fix: Make sure you entered the EPG URL (separate from M3U URL). In TiviMate: Settings → EPG Settings → Refresh EPG. Allow 5–10 minutes for the full guide to load.

Max Streams Reached Error

Cause: Another device using the same account.
Fix: Close IPTV on all other devices. If the issue persists, contact support to reset your active streams (takes 2 minutes).

Subscription Expired Message

Cause: For lifetime plans — this should never happen. If you see this error, contact our WhatsApp support immediately. We resolve lifetime subscription issues within 1 hour.

Setup & Technical FAQ

An M3U URL is a single link containing all your channel streams in a playlist file. Xtream Codes gives you a host URL, username, and password that apps use to fetch channels via an API — it's more flexible and lets apps access your VOD library and EPG more efficiently. Both work the same in terms of channel access. Xtream Codes is generally recommended for apps like TiviMate and IPTV Smarters.
Yes — as long as you have sufficient simultaneous connections in your plan. The Lifetime plan supports 5 simultaneous streams, so you can watch different channels on 5 devices at the same time.
Simply install the same IPTV app on the second device and enter the same M3U URL or Xtream Codes. As long as both devices aren't exceeding your simultaneous connection limit, they will both work independently.
In TiviMate, press the Menu button on your remote and select "Search". Type the channel name. You can also browse by category (Sports, News, Movies, etc.) using the left panel. Channels are automatically sorted into categories from your M3U playlist.
